Resin bridge refurb Terrain 25

I got this resin bridge off Des, you could just get a single 28mm figure across it and I figured I could make it more useful so I cut it down the middle with a panel saw, uhu glued some foamboard between it and chucked some ready mixed filler on it.

After that I've slapped some paint on the filler, bit of a wash and wet brushed some more limestone colour to it then flocked it with my usual terrain mix.

Here with some almost based French dragoons painted in Jamaica.
A first post to count towards Dave Stones Summer of scenery at last!
It's always useful to have another bridge, I'm pretty sure it started off as an aquarium model but I think it works well enough now, bit more of a country bridge than my Warlord/Italeri one I think.

All the best

Iain

  4. Certainly more useful than a single person bridge, unless you were planning on trying a skirmish game, Iain!

  7. Nice work on making the terrain piece much more useful. Came out great. I try to have bridges at least 50mm wide on the inside - so at least the usual Black Powder-type of cav bases can make it over.

  11. wow, nice job. Something that would never occur to me but it's pretty simple. But why is it so arced? looks like the back and a scared cat. 😁
