Here's some pics of the old glory back up chaps
And all of them together, I've got another eighteen foundry landsknechts with upright pikes to finish off the third unit but I haven't even primed them yet, so they will be a while yet! Still to come more pikes, crossbow men, landsknecht shot maybe something napoleonic for a change?
All the best
Iain
Top notch painting and basing, a wonderful and impressive pike unit!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil, that's very kind of you.

Great Landsknecht pikemen, Iain!
ReplyDeleteI agree one all counts wrt leveled pikes: (1) look great, (2) unwieldy on the wargame table, (3) they are your troops so your choice is top priority!
Really superb work on these snd the Old Glory and Foundry look good together. Well done!
Thanks Jonathan, I also realise I must add flags to these units, that will improve them enormously.

Great Stuff, they look really imposing and have a good density as well - Gendarmes won't be riding through them very easily!
ReplyDeleteThanks Oli, like you I've adopted Olicanalad's six pike to a 45x 45mm base, they just look right with that density.
