A post from the AHPC 10 sci fi and fantasy

I have posted a couple of figures on the analogue hobbies painting challenge which I'm taking part in again and just for a change I've painted a games Workshop gang member for their Necromundia game. (from last century but they have rereleased it recently)
Its a  nicely sculpted figure, I haven't painted anything non historical for over a  decade and have no real plans to do any more but here he is as a diversion I guess?

Following on from the redemptionist is a palaquin of Nurgle, an old school warhammer type model which I am offering up as my contribution to the challenge.  Once more this was a fun thing to do but I am back painting troops now!
Next up will probably be some terrain I have been working on for over a year on and off and is finally finished!

All the best Iain

  3. Once you get your eye in, there is a ton of little bits of detail to cover with these GW figures, I imagine making these quite a challenge to paint. Is the old GW stuff collectable / valuable?

  4. Nice job painting these guys. Hope you can find a use for them.
I’ve found every Nurgle miniature to be just gross. I know that’s the idea but...😀

  6. Nicely done , I have been pondering getting my chaos army out as there were some bits I never really finished off and they needed better basing I can see it would make a pleasant diversion from SYW !

  12. Ha, funnily enough I've been digging out some of the old GW pile mountain of doom as well - including uncovering my old redemptionists and thinking "now, I can use these" and some Nurgle stuff!

    Great looking work here, Iain.

  15. Love the palanquin Iain. I had a Nurgle army decades ago and my wizard was on a palanquin! Those old minis are great aren't they.
