Napoleonic Austrian commanders Napoleonic 13

Three Perry Austrian metal mounted commanders that I got with a Perry army deal, although their general prices have gone up the army deals have remained at their original cost, worth considering if you actually want to raise an army! Rapidly painted, they might have a (plastic Victrix) colleague added to their base at a later date but for now this gives me at least some Austrian command

Next up some Austrian artillery support!

All the best Iain

  2. Those turned out well, Iain. How do you find the Perry vs. Victrix? My sense of the latter is the sculpting is a little more in the "heroic" vein, while the Perry stuff is slimmer. Does that hold for Napoleonics as well?

    1. Thanks Markus, the Victrix heads are slightly bigger but I wouldn't say heroic, I'm more than happy to mix them in the same unit, which is saying a lot in the world of Napoleonic conformity!

  4. Nice one Iain! You are going to need an actual barracks to hold all your toy soldiers at this rate.

  14. These are great sculpts, imo, with just the right amount of animation for commanders.
Tou really done these justice with your brushwork too.

It's not the figure price, it's the shipping from the UK. Ouch!

  17. Big hats and waving swords about enthusiastically, very much a trio of commanders. Looking great Iain, especially for quick paintjobs.
