French supply wagon Napoleonic 78

Here is a 3d printed Napoleonic French supply wagon from TayloredFiguresGB on etsy,  from the same supplier I got the limbers and horse teams from, although it was actually last Christmas's secret santa present , so a rapid turnaround in my book ! Nice model, not too much clean up, sprayed in Army painter goblin green, black ink on horses and driver, agrax earthshade wash over all the green, bit of metal, horse colours and driver colours,  the tilt was primed in Halfords matt khaki spray.

Another wagon done, more in the queue, together with Napoleonic infantry, cavalry terrain and some more Romano British.

All the best

Iain

  1. Nicely done taup/canvas soft top. The 3D stuff is very compelling (to buy, not to own a 3D machine!). My two napoleonic artillery carts from Warbases have arrived following your last post ….. very effective for such few parts.

    1. Thanks Norm, the warbases wagons are good aren't they? I've got some other 3d printed wagons coming up in my next Napoleonic post that are even more economical, but the warbases ones are ace!

    1. ThanksJonathan, I find limbers and wagons somewhat relaxing after the serried ranks of infantry and cavalry, maybe it's just because I know I'm nearing completion( as much as we ever are!)

  4. 'Not too much cleanup required' is the phrase that leapt out at me. Always a bonus, and the finished article looks great Iain.

    1. The auto correct is annoying. The addition of a wagon in a game can lead to a clever plot line.

  11. Excellent work there Iain and 3D printing really is coming into its own now, compared to even last year. It appears the quality has markedly improved and the choice of 'subjects' too:).

  12. That looks grand Iain. There is a lot of detail in the wagon especially and the nags look really well proportioned. They don't seem to have any of the 'square' look of much of the 3D printed stuff that I have seen. Beaut!
    Best wishes, James

  13. Lovely wagon Iain, I do like little vignettes like wagons and other stand alone bases that can be added to a gaming table.
